How did you get engaged?:  We planned to take some photos at Stump Pond in Coventry and then go to see the house we had just placed a bid on. We spent a while driving around what we had hoped would be our new neighborhood. We got to the house in the afternoon, after meeting our neighbors we went into the house to take a look around to check out the possibilities. While checking out the kitchen cabinets and draws he made a reference to one of the draws in particular. I opened the drawer, looked in it, pulled out an old doorknob and said "Danny, it’s a door knob" and shut the drawer. Somehow I missed the HUGE SILVER RING BOX he had so carefully placed right in the middle of the draw. Ha. Once I re-opened the drawer, pulled it out and opened the box, Danny was on one knee confessing his love and letting me know that he wants to spend the rest of our lives together in this house and asked me to marry him. After my tears of joy and my look of shock, I screamed YES! Danny then told me how he had asked my parents for their permission and their blessing the week prior and that he had as much faith in US as he did in our bid on the foreclosed house. Faith is a beautiful thing because our offer was accepted shortly after and we are now living in the house. I have a gorgeous jewelry box to hold my beautiful engagement ring in, with the date of the day we got engaged engraved inside.
